Menger Hotel. 210-223-4361. Be sure and ask for the ghosttechcon room rate or tell them its for the ghost hunting conference May 31st. Staying here will put you in the middle of the ghost hunting conference activity. Plus, why not stay in the MOST HAUNTED HOTEL IN SAN ANTONIO, THE MOST HAUNTED HOTEL WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI AND A VERY SPOOKY PLACE, HAHAHAHA
Just about any room in this hotel could give you a ghost sighting. I would suggest trying to get the KING RANCH SUITE. The guy that started the King Ranch died in that room in 1885 and the bed you will be sleeping on is the same bed he died on and they left his body on for three days so people could give him a last visit. Yes sir, same bed, they have changed the sheets and flipped the mattress for your sleeping enjoyment, yes, flipped it twice from what I understand, hahahaha.
Emily Morgan Hotel. 210-225-8486. If you can get room 811, 1209 or 1409, go for it. Yeah, thats right 1409, not 1408 like in the movie. This hotel was first built as a hospital. Think about this, when you see history channel TV shows about haunted hotel rooms, most of the time the room is haunted because somebody died in that room. At the Emily Morgan you will be staying in a room where hundreds died when it was a hospital, hahahaha, good luck!!!!
UPDATE, EMILY MORGAN HOTEL, ROOM 810 WAS THE LOCATION OF A BLOODY MURDER APRIL 8TH, 2008. ONE DEAD FEMALE DIED FROM 40 STAB WOUNDS AND A SLIT THROAT, ONE MALE DIED FROM 4 BULLET WOUNDS.
Comfort Inn on Cameron Street. 210-281-1400. This building was used as a jail for years and they hung people inside of the building. Try to get on the second or third floor. They hung them on the third floor but they died on the second floor, you know what I mean, that falling down one floor thing did the trick, hahaha.
Red Roof Inn downtown has a few ghosts on the first floor. Rooms that are to the left of the front desk. 210-229-9973.
Sheraton Gunter Hotel, 210-227-3241. You have to try to get room 636, the location of a bloody murder in 1965. Some guy kills a woman and then runs the body parts through a meat grinder.
When contacting these hotels, some of them may not admit there are ghosts there but we have collected many stories about these rooms.
